James Cox:   Served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve from August 1966 to January 1974.  He served in the 268^th Pathfinders in Vietnam, the 187^th Pathfinders at Ft Benning, GA, and Company C 3^rd BN/16^th infantry, 187^th Inf Bde at Ft Devens, MA.  He left the U.S. Army as a Platoon Sergeant.  From January 1974 to January 1990 he served in the U.S. Navy as an Anti-Submarine and Search and Rescue Helicopter Crewman.  In 1987, he was awarded the U.S. Navy Distinguished Rifleman’s badge.  He retired from the U. S. Navy In 1990 as a CPO and lives in Florida with his wife and two children.
